On Sunday, October 24, The Wilmot Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 1 PM in the Wilmot Town Hall, located at 9 North Wilmot Road. This meeting was canceled last year because of COVID-19, which has resulted in seven board members running for two- and three-year terms of office.
Steve Taylor, an independent scholar, farmer, and journalist will speak on The Great Sheep Boom in New Hampshire. He currently operates a dairy, maple syrup, and cheese-making enterprise with his sons in Meriden Village. Steve has been a newspaper reporter and editor and served for 25 years as New Hampshire’s Commissioner of Agriculture.
