Wilmot Historical Society Meeting to Feature Speaker of Many Talents

Steve Taylor will speak at the Wilmot Historical Society’s annual meeting in late October. He plans to speak about The Great Sheep Boom in New Hampshire.

On Sunday, October 24, The Wilmot Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 1 PM in the Wilmot Town Hall, located at 9 North Wilmot Road. This meeting was canceled last year because of COVID-19, which has resulted in seven board members running for two- and three-year terms of office.

Steve Taylor, an independent scholar, farmer, and journalist will speak on The Great Sheep Boom in New Hampshire. He currently operates a dairy, maple syrup, and cheese-making enterprise with his sons in Meriden Village. Steve has been a newspaper reporter and editor and served for 25 years as New Hampshire’s Commissioner of Agriculture.
