Marilyn L. Annis, 84, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away on August 30. She was born on November 2, 1936 in East Andover to the late William J. Miller, Jr. and Violet E. (Small) Miller.
Marilyn graduated from Andover High School in 1954. After graduating high school she worked in Concord, then moved to Boston and worked for Farm Bureau Insurance as an underwriter until she married the love of her life, Kenneth C. Annis in 1959.
Marilyn was of the Episcopalian faith and was baptized at Trinity Episcopal Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crosswords and putting together jigsaw puzzles. Her mother taught her to sew, and she made quilts for the family. Marilyn will forever be remembered for being a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She volunteered in her grandson’s class and in the school library. She shared her love of books and reading with her daughter and grandson.
Marilyn is predeceased by her parents; husband Kenneth C. Annis; brother Billy Miller; and sisters Barbara Fraser and Dorothy Miller.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth C. Annis II and Lorena Allen; siblings George Miller and Crissie Tilton; grandson Matthew Steven Allen; and numerous extended family and friends.
