Andover Looks Forward to Full-Featured Fourth of July Celebration!

Rain date is Saturday, July 9

A group of children participate in the Andover Fourth of July parade celebration in 1987.

This is it! The Fourth of July Committee has worked all year to get things ready for the celebration. Without the support of Andover’s police and fire departments, as well as townspeople, we wouldn’t be able to pull this celebration together.

Bring your appetites and good spirits for a full day of activities around Andover. Make sure you reserve a place in your heart for our country and all “She” stands for. One way to show patriotism is to raise a flag in your front yard.

Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets at the raffle booth on the Village Green on the Fourth. At last count, there were over 60 prizes, so your chances to win are good!

Based on how the spring has gone, we are due for a beautiful, sunny Fourth of July. But just in case, a rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 9. This will be announced by 6 PM on Sunday, July 3, on the Andover Fourth of July Facebook page at facebook.com/AndoverNH4thOfJuly, on the Andover Town website at Andover-NH.gov, and on The Andover Beacon website at AndoverBeacon.com

If in doubt, call Doug at 603 977-0037, Donna at 603 735-6131, or Beth at 603 455-2882.
