Jon Warzocha – Candidate for Town Moderator

By Jon Warzocha

Hi, my name is Jon Warzocha and I’m running as a write-in candidate for moderator.  My wife and I have been Andover residents for 21 years, and we could not think of a better place to live.  I’ve always felt the need to give back to the community and have been active on Town boards for many years.

Jon Warzocha – Candidate for Town Moderator

I began volunteering as a Planning Board member in 2006 and continued as a board member for over 10 years, including serving as chair for several years.  More recently I have been serving as a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.

In my professional life, I am co-owner and CEO of an approximately 70-person civil engineering and land surveying firm.  My profession has given me the opportunity to work in many small communities throughout northern New England.  A major part of my work responsibilities is assisting Select Boards and Precinct/Village District boards to present articles for municipal infrastructure project funding.

My time presenting and taking part in question-and-answer sessions at annual meetings over the last 20 years has given me extensive experience at managing the process and dialog at public meetings.  To make a meeting successful, it is critical that everyone have the opportunity to have their voice heard in a respectful manner.

If elected, I hope to help bring success to Andover’s town meeting and would welcome the opportunity to continue to serve the Andover community.
