Singer-songwriter Cosy Sheridan Headlines April Coffeehouse

Friday, April 21, 7 PM, East Andover Grange

Press release
Singer-songwriter Cosy Sheridan will play at the April Coffeehouse, sponsored by Ty Morris, Real Estate Professional.

Massachusetts-based Cosy Sheridan will be featured at the monthly Andover Community Coffeehouse on Friday, April 21, at the Highland Lake Grange in East Andover. Sheridan, who has been called one of the area’s finest and most thoughtful songwriters, is also known for her bluesy guitar playing and will be backed by the strong rhythms and harmonies of her bass player Charlie Koch.

The concert begins at 7 PM and is open to the public at no charge, although donations are encouraged when the hat is passed to be shared with the featured act. Doors to the Grange Hall open at 6 PM for food and beverage purchases, and for open mic sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sheridan has been described by the Boston Globe as a “wonderfully lively, very funny and enormously amiable entertainer with a keen and wicked eye for the excesses of our fast-food, TV-happy and noisome culture.”  The evening will also include up to five, two-song, open-mic acts.

The sponsor of this month’s coffeehouse is Ty Morris, Real Estate Professional. More information about the featured act and the Andover Coffeehouse can be found at andovercoffeehouse.org. The Coffeehouse operates under the umbrella of The Andover Community Hub; more information about The Hub can be found at andoverhub.org.
