“Letting Go of Fear” will meet on three Thursdays beginning April 6, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, for those struggling with fears of any kind, led by life coach Mary Howe. Howe uses the Emotional Freedom Technique and works with the body’s reaction to a problem to help people cope with fears that may be limiting their daily activities. Participants will learn the tools they need to take action and get on with their lives. “Stay Strong, Stand Tall…Don’t Fall!” is a four-week balance and fall-prevention class that will meet twice a week, Tuesday and Friday, beginning May 9, 10:30 to 11:30 AM. The class will teach participants to control falls, set goals for increasing activity, improve balance, posture, and mobility, and reduce fall risks at home and is taught by Pam Sanborn, Certified Functional Aging Specialist who also teaches at the Hogan Sports Center at Colby-Sawyer College. “Sit and Quilt”on Saturday, April 29, 9 AM to 3:30 PM, is an opportunity to bring a project you’re working on and get it done in the company of other quilters. “Level 1, Life Skills” is a dog-training class taught by Andover resident Dee Ganley for dogs who are at least five months old. It will begin on Saturday, April 1, for four weeks (skipping April 22), 3:30 to 4:30 PM. To register, contact Dee at 603 735-5543 or go to deesdogs.com for more details.

Two levels of Tai Chi will begin on April 13 for eight Thursdays; the beginning class at 4 PM and the “next level” class at 5 PM, taught by Blake McNeill of Sutton.
