Miniature Golf Comes to the Bachelder Library

Fundraiser July 1 to July 4, Putt Fore the Bachelder Library

By Janet Moore

Something super fun is coming to the Andover Public Library — miniature golf! The library will be transformed into a Putt Fore the Bachelder Library mini-golf course, and we want you to come play. You’ll journey through the stacks, into the children’s room, and back outside on this epic course, with holes designed by local businesses and library lovers.

The course will be open Saturday through Tuesday, July 1 to July 4. We recommend a $5 donation per player, or $20 for a family, as we raise money to repair the William A. Bachelder Library’s ceiling. Interested in being a part of this event? We are currently looking for businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to be sponsors.

Becoming a Course sponsor is $100 and includes benefits like designing a hole on our mini-golf course, playing our course first on a special invitation-only night, and advertisement of your support throughout the event. Becoming a Clubhouse sponsor is $200, which includes all the perks of being a Course sponsor, plus unlimited course play throughout the four-day event for yourself and three named guests!

Want to volunteer? We need individuals who are interested in helping to run the course! We are also in need of putters. If you have putters that you don’t mind lending out for a week, we would really appreciate it. We are especially in need of kids’ putters.

Sponsorship packages are filling up quickly, so be sure to contact Michaela Hoover today, at andoverpl11@nullgmail.com or 603 735-5333, to secure your sponsorship spot, to sign up for a volunteer time slot, or to ask about dropping off putters.

We appreciate your support for our Andover Libraries, and we can’t wait to see you at Putt Fore the Bachelder Library!
