After three years, the much-anticipated Women Who Make A Difference Luncheon returned on May 10. More than 200 guests filled Wheeler Hall at Colby-Sawyer College to “reconnect and feel the joy” of finally being together again.

“The highlight of the luncheon is always the big reveal of the award winners, and we congratulate each of these remarkable 2023 honorees,” says Cathy Raymond, Development Officer at Lake Sunapee VNA.

Guest speaker Kasey Mathews, Author and Transformational Life Coach, invited attendees to invite more joy into their lives in her powerful message about leading a life overflowing with abundance and purpose.

Nicole Densmore led more than 70 New London Elementary School third-graders in the very popular tradition of opening the event with songs that always delight the crowd. And, to close out this special afternoon, Nora Gantner, sophomore at Kearsarge Regional High School, wowed the crowd with her inspiring rendition of “Rise Up.”

“We are so grateful to each and every guest, contributor, and sponsor,” said Raymond. “We also wish to express special thanks for the leadership of Ellie Snyder, our STAR sponsor, and Ledyard Bank, our ANGEL sponsor.”

Proceeds of the luncheon benefit the vital care that Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice provides to the community. For more information, visit LakeSunapeeVNA.org.
