People - Deaths - 130728 CoteRaymond Arthur Cote Sr., 74, of Hooksett, died on July 28, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Manchester on April 26, 1939, the son of Joseph and Angeline (Croteau) Cote. He was educated in the local school system and graduated from Bishop Bradley High School.

He served in the US Army National Guard. Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a machinist with Public Service of New Hampshire for more than 30 years.

Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Above all else, Ray will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who devoted his life to helping others.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Juliette (Baril) Cote, in 1990; both parents; and brothers Armand and Roland Cote.

Family members include his wife, Beverley (Roberts) Cote of Hooksett; one daughter, Rhonda Hall and husband Roland of Franklin; two sons, Raymond Cote Jr. and wife Valerie of Andover, and Jeffrey Cote and wife Nancy of Webster; two stepdaughters, Michele Harisiades and husband Artie of Hooksett, and Tina Pelletier of Hooksett; his grandchildren, Toby Hall and wife Judith of California, Tyler Hall and wife Sara of Windsor, Christopher Crosbie and wife Katie of Franklin, Krystle Breton and husband Justin of Concord, Raymond Crosbie and wife Ashley of Franklin, Melissa Harisiades of Hooksett, Marissa Cote of Rhode Island, Zachary Harisiades of Hooksett, and Kasey Harisaides of Hooksett; great-grandchildren Julianna and Izabella Crosbie, Claire Crosbie, Noah Paris, Montgomery Breton, Oliver Breton, Berai Hall, and Juan Hall; his brother, Albert Cote and wife Fran of Portsmouth; his sisters, Terry Beaudet and Estelle Houle of Largo, Florida, Jeanne Gagne and husband Lionel Gagne of Franklin, and Helen Brisson and husband Ronald of Bedford; sister-in-law Estelle Cote of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Calling hours were held on July 31 at Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory in Manchester. A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on August 1 in St. Catherine of Siena Church. Urn burial with military honors followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
