Three Andover Seniors Head to Field Hockey Championship

Most varsity sports at MVHS hold a Senior Night at the last home game of the regular season, and MVHS Varsity Field Hockey is no exception. On October 9, the field hockey had its senior night. Pictured: Andover Seniors Rebekah Stearns (captain), Haley Adams, and Erin Frost (captain) have been in the program for four years. Coach Kim Kenny had come to SHARE Day at AE/MS back in 2010, and after attending her workshop, the girls decided to play field hockey. The MVHS team ended the regular season with nine wins, four losses, and a tie. MVHS Field Hockey plays Milford High in the playoffs, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals on October 27 at Souhegan High, a big MVHS rival and a tough game. Caption: Katherine Stearns. Since then, the team advanced through the quarterfinals and semifinals to face Windham in the championship game on November 3.
