In October, Andover resident Jessica Davis and her dog Gracie needed donations to help send her and her friend Laura Campbell to Georgia for the Disc Dog World Finals. Thanks to the help of this wonderful community, Jessica and Laura were able to attend.

The dogs did exceptionally well, and it is an experience they will never forget. They simply live for the sport, and both dogs had a blast vaulting off their handler’s back to catch Frisbees mid-air and running out far to catch them out there as well.

The dogs, Gracie and Ripley, are second home dogs and are getting older, so this was their only chance to compete in such a high-level competition. Thanks to everyone’s help, they were able to get the experience of a lifetime.

In Georgia, they had beautiful, warm weather to compete in. They got to watch some of the best teams in the world play, and they were able to meet a ton of new people who share their passion for canine athletics.

Fun was had by all who were able to attend, and it was truly something that neither Jess or Laura, nor Gracie or Ripley, will ever forget, thanks to all who helped send them down there.
