Mark Kelso, February 23, 2014

People - Deaths - 140223 KelsoMark was born on June 30, 1960 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Mark graduated from Belmont High School in 1978. Most of his adult life he lived in Danbury.

Mark was a self-employed logger. He loved the outdoors and nature and would never have been one to punch a time clock. He respected the land and landowners whenever he did a job for them. He always told his family that when his time came, it would be doing what he loved, hopefully in the woods. Unfortunately that was not the case.

Mark is survived by his parents, William and Linda Kelso of Canterbury; his wife, Paula Stillman Kelso of 29 years, of Danbury; his son, a logger like his father, Raymond Mark Kelso and Jessica Moses and his grandsons Jonathan Ray Kelso and Mason Lee Dion of Danbury; his daughter, Michelle Grace Kelso of Danbury; his younger sister, Raven Gael and Paul Blaisdell of Northfield; his younger sister, Kathleen Mae and John Vidaver and his nieces, Ashley Rae Lyon and Rachel Gail Jones of Concord; his younger brother, Eric William Kelso and his niece, Haley Ann Kelso of Concord; and his very dear friend and companion, Deb Guinard of Andover. Mark is also survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins from all over the United States.

Mark loved his family. He was loyal to all of them. He had a lot of friends and logging buddies whom he cared for like family. We pray he’s celebrating with his friends Tom Wilder and Charlie Beck.

The Cremation Society of New Hampshire will be taking care of Mark. There will be no services at this time. However, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
