Today I learned, to my great outrage, about a negative campaign mailing attacking my opponent. I can affirm that I had nothing to do with it and was not consulted; otherwise, I would have nixed it. Negative campaign advertising is against everything I believe in, and I would never engage in it. I have told Democratic headquarters to cease and desist.
