Each year, Proctor Academy enrolls roughly 30 Andover students, allocating over $488,000 in financial aid to help defray the cost of tuition. In addition, Proctor offers an already discounted tuition for Andover residents of $19,000 which is $13,000 less than the published day student tuition. This has been an important aspect of Proctor’s relationship with Andover since” the 1970s.”

Andover students are critical members of the Proctor community through participation in the classroom, athletic teams, the arts, and community service programs. Former Andover Eagles from AE/MS consistently graduate among the top of their class at Proctor and go on to some of the nation’s most competitive universities, including Colgate University, New York University, Colby College, and Macalester College in the past two years.

This fall, a number of Andover students were recognized for their athletic and artistic achievements. An integral part of the boys varsity soccer team since his ninth-grade year, Thaddeus Bicknell ‘15 earned Most Valuable Player honors this fall. As goalie for the varsity field hockey team, Taylor Methven ‘16 was recognized as Most Valuable Player on the varsity field hockey team which earned a New England playoff bid for the second straight year.

Taylor’s younger sister, Chloe Methven ‘18, earned Most Improved Player honors for the junior varsity field hockey team; while Kelsie Berry ‘15 was recognized as the junior varsity girls soccer Most Valuable Player and recently opened for rock star Matt Nathanson when he sang a benefit concert on Proctor’s campus in October.

The depth, talent, and contributions of Andover students are critical to the success of the Proctor community!
