A record number of 65 vendors will participate in the Wilmot Community Association’s (WCA) annual Holiday Craft Fair set from 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the New London Outing Club’s Indoor Center, 114 Cougar Court, New London. Admission is free, and includes a raffle ticket for items donated by the vendors.
“For anyone looking for the perfect handmade item to give as a Christmas gift, the WCA’s Holiday Craft Fair is a MUST,” said Kathy Neuberger, event organizer. The handmade items available will include aprons, furniture, beeswax candles, jams and jellies, knitted, woven and felted items, ornaments, cutting boards, stained glass, quilts, fresh evergreen wreaths, unique gifts and jewelry. The Wilmot Ladies Aid Society will be at the fair with their famous Cookie Walk and coffee, food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.

The WCA, founded in 1963, is a membership-based not-for-profit organization that provides the facilities for social, educational, and recreational programs for Wilmot. It owns the Red Barn, a community center on Village Road, and Timothy Patten Park, a beach a playground on Shindagan Road.
The WCA’s office at 64 Village Road in Wilmot Flat is open from 9 AM to noon, Monday through Thursday and by appointment. The office will be closed November 26 and 27 and December 22 through Dec. 25.
