The community is invited to the Lake Sunapee Region~~Center for the Arts first Friday event on January 2, 2015 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Whipple Hall in New London. The Bradford Country Squares will conduct a square dance demonstration.

Have you ever attended a Square Dance? If not, this will be your golden opportunity. The Bradford Country Squares are performing for this First Friday event of the New Year! BCS was established in Bradford in the 1980’s, and they have been going strong ever since. Not only do they entertain, but they also instruct new comers to the Art of the Square. The BCS philosophy is “This is, after all, the America’s folk dance and we want to keep it from dying out.” It is often said that Square Dancing is a friendship set to music. And, we get to laugh a lot! The caller for this evening will be the well-known Don Bachelder, who is considered one of the finest!

All First Friday events are free and open to the public. Come join the fun. Light refreshments will follow!
