Clarence E. David, 86, of Londonderry passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the Parkland Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. (Taff) David, with whom he shared 61 years before she passed away in 2009.
A son of the late Royal A. David and the late Eva E. (Labombard) David, he was born on January 9, 1928 in Georgetown, Massachusetts. He grew up in Billerica, Massachusetts where he was educated in the local schools.
Mr. David proudly served his country with the United States Navy and the Navy Reserve and retired from the reserves as a Lieutenant Commander.
Clarence raised his family in Dracut where he lived for many years before more recently residing in Londonderry. He loved spending time in Maine, where he formerly lived for a few years and where he enjoyed his vacation home. Clarence enjoyed playing tennis, working with his hands, especially woodworking. He also loved the Atlanta Braves.
He was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut. Clarence was employed as a Regional Area Manager for the DCAA before his retirement at the age of 60.
Among surviving family members is his daughter-in-law, Nancy David of Andover.
