Joan E. Osteen, 71, of Wilmot passed away on December 30, 2014 at New London Hospital from medical complications. She was born on December 22, 1943 to the late Thomas F. Kilcourse and Emma Morton in Springfield, Massachusetts at the Wesson Maternity Hospital.

Joan is survived by her husband, L. Ray Osteen, and her brother, Gary Kilcourse. She is the mother of the late Steven Osteen and the late Craig Osteen. She is survived by her daughter Shannon D. Osteen, son L. Mitchell Osteen, and daughter Julie Dukette. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many other family and friends.

Joan was a strong, caring woman in the community for many years. Joan was the co-owner and operator of the family-owned Country Pine Furniture with her husband Ray for over 30 years. She loved to love, cook, garden, and travel.

Calling hours were held on January 6 at the Chadwick Funeral Home in New London. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to L. Ray Osteen and sent to 138 Pancake Road, Andover 03216.
