On Saturday February 7, Proctor Academy hosted the annual Proctor Ski Area Celebration. Hundreds of local skiers joined Proctor students, faculty, and staff at the Proctor Ski Area for an evening of free skiing, food, and fun capped off by the annual torchlight parade.
Prior to the evening’s festivities, Proctor dedicated the Bill Paine ’51 Nordic Center with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. Proctor Academy Head of School Mike Henriques shared, “Bill Paine was one of the most community-minded people I have ever met and desired always to give back to the community. This facility honors everything Bill wanted to do in his life, as this facility will allow us to continually give back to the local community.”
Thank you to all in the local community who came out to celebrate the Proctor Ski Area.
