David Hildebrand Receives His PhD in Neuroscience from Harvard

On March 23rd David GC Hildebrand defended his doctoral dissertation in neuroscience at Harvard University. His thesis was titled "Whole-brain functional and structural examination in larval zebrafish". He survived the ordeal and is now Dr. David GC Hildebrand, PhD. In his final stages of the thesis writing he considered calling Mrs. Lemeris, his middle school English teacher, to ask her whether he should apply a semi-colon at a certain spot, or not! Consider that, middle-schoolers ... your learning is FOREVER! David lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He will continue to work in his current lab for another six months and travel for work to Germany, Italy, and other parts of the USA. He has not yet decided where he will do post-doctoral work. Dr. Hildebrand is the son of Gretchen and Kathy Hildebrand from Andover and Ken and Jacqui Colburn of Meredith.
