Marie A. (Poaletta) Bourdon, 84, wife of the late John F. Bourdon, died on March 24, 2015 at the Merrimack Hospice in Concord. She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on December 16, 1930, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Mello) Poaletta and lived in Tewksbury and Billerica before moving to Dacula, Georgia, and most recently to Concord.

Mrs. Bourdon was an Executive Secretary for the Mitre Corporation in Bedford, Massachusetts for many years.

She is survived by three sons: John Bourdon and his wife Joyce of East Andover; Steve Bourdon and his wife Barbara of Billerica, Massachusetts; and Dennis Bourdon and his wife Cecilia of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Robert Poaletta of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; and four grandchildren: Greg, Marc, Jackie, and Natalie. She was the sister of the late Louise Forsythe and Dorothy Hardy.

It being her request, there will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be held on March 27 at St. Theresa Church in Billerica at 10:30 AM, with burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St, Watertown MA 02472.
