James P. Foss, 75, of Vernon, Connecticut passed away on May 4, 2015. He was born on May 1, 1940 in Fort Fairfield, Maine, the son of the late George S. and Georgie (Everett) Foss.

He was a member of the Elks Club, Maple Grove, Italian-American Friendship Club, TKB Club, and several other organizations, always keeping active. He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his brother, David Foss and his wife Carol of Union, Connecticut; his sisters, Betty Henderson and her husband Roger of East Andover, and Mary Martin and Wilma Jones, both of Vernon, Connecticut. He is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews. His greatest love was his family.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Dawn Barnes of Caswell, Maine.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 8 at St. Bernard’s Church in Rockville, Connecticut. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
