My, oh my, it doesn’t get much better than pie for breakfast!
The Wilmot Community Association (WCA) will have its sixth annual Pie Breakfast from 8 to 11 AM on Saturday, July 25, at the WCA Red Barn, 64 Village Road, next to the US Post Office in Wilmot.
The menu will feature hot and cold savory and sweet pies – homemade, of course – plus breakfast meat, beverages, fruit juice, and other goodies.
“If you would like to donate a pie or two to the WCA’s Pie Breakfast, please let me know,” said Amber Gove, event organizer and WCA board member. “The many residents who support this event by donating a pie or two make this fun-filled breakfast possible. It would not be possible without their help. To accommodate special dietary needs, cooks also can donate pies that are free of gluten or dairy products.”
Cost is $8 for adults; $4 for children 6 to 12; and free for children 5 and younger.
More information about donating a pie for the breakfast is available from the WCA at 526-7934, by e-mail at wca@nulltds.net, or from Amber Gove at 748-1684.
