Warner’s Tory Hill Authors Series continues its sixth season with Vermont farmer and author Ben Hewitt, who speaks on July 25. Ben’s latest book, written in collaboration with his wife, Penny, is titled The Nourishing Landscape: One Back-to-the-Land Family’s Plan for Cultivating Soil, Skills, and Spirit and  imparts a practiculture way to grow nutrient-dense food, produce healthy fats, and live the good life. Ben has also written about their family’s experiences of homeschooling their two sons.

This evening is the second of four presented by the Warner Historical Society. The next performance will be on August 8 with Harvard University Professor of Public Policy, Robert D. Putnam. The readings begin at 7 PM and are held in the Warner Town Hall, 5 East Main Street. A dessert social and book signing are accompanied by the sounds of live music following the readings.
