A New Home for the Bates Family

Habitat for Humanity is building it on Route 4A

Habitat for Humanity is building a new home for Carmen Bates and her children on Route 4A in Andover. Left to right: Jeff is currently working at Belletetes; Emily is a sophomore at MVHS; Eric is in third grade at AE/MS; and Tim is working at the Inn at Pleasant Lake (and at Mount Sunapee Resort in the winter). The family and their friends and family have to donate 500 hours in labor toward the construction, which is slated to be finished in late October or early November. To volunteer or to help the project financially, call Habitat for Humanity at 526-8464. Photo: Charlie Darling
