The Warner Fall Foliage Festival will be held on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11 in downtown Warner. This event is filled with competitions, entertainment, fine craft vendors, music, a midway, food, farmers market, awesome parades, and more. Fair-goers of all ages may join in the competitions or just sit back, watch, and enjoy the fun.
The hours are Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Admission is free to the Festival. Parking is $5, and buses will shuttle folks from the paid parking areas to downtown at no charge. Handicapped parking downtown is limited.
The parades will be held at 1 PM, with the Children’s Parade on Saturday and the Grand Parade on Sunday, during which time Main Street will be closed. Festival organizers recommend visitors arrive before noon to avoid traffic jams.
The main attractions this year will be the oxen pulling and woodsmen competitions, the five-mile road race, the Children’s Fun Run, and a wide variety of music and entertainment on the stage and other locations. There will be diverse food offerings, with many more vendors throughout the festival area, including the ever-popular chicken barbecue and lobster tent. The Grand Parade on Sunday will include an outstanding band from Baltimore.
Festival organizers hope folks will come and spend a day in Warner, enjoying this wonderful celebration of autumn. More information can be found at WFFF.org or in the many festival brochures around the area.
