The TRIP Senior Center has expanded its rural transportation service with a bus that now serves Andover, Danbury, and Hill on Fridays. Please call 934-4151 to schedule your ride.

The Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. is pleased to offer bus service daily in the Franklin and surrounding areas Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 2:30 PM. If you are 60 or over, for a low suggested donation of $1 per ride or $2 round-trip, you can get to the doctor, do your banking, shopping, and errands, and/or attend the TRIP Center for lunch. Limited rides are available for adults with disabilities.

On September 25, the Rural Transportation Service expanded into Andover, Danbury, and Hill on Fridays. Adults may call the TRIP Center at 934-4151 to schedule transportation into the greater Franklin area.

Seniors benefit from affordable transportation to help with medical appointments, shopping, or other essential services. The service is door to door, so you may be picked up at your home for convenience and taken to your destination. The bus has a wheelchair lift and steps for easy boarding.

Our customers report that the bus is clean and comfortable and that they feel very safe while riding on it. Going to more than one location is an option. Many seniors enjoy the opportunity to ride together and make the day an outing. The service is great to do some holiday shopping and then enjoy lunch at the TRIP Center.

Our friendly drivers are helpful, courteous, and reliable. We ask for 24 hours notice to request a ride or to make schedule changes. This is important in order to accommodate as many people as possible.
