Proctor Academy completed its most recent solar array installation this fall with a 107.4 kW solar array in the south end of the Proctor Ski Area, the third major solar array installed in the past six months. The installation, performed by ReVision Energy, marks a significant commitment by the school toward reducing its reliance on fossil fuels for electrical costs as the school’s total solar capacity is now 340kW. When combined with the schools biomass facility, Proctor has reduced its carbon footprint considerably over the past five years. Proctor is proud to be a part of the collective Andover community movement toward renewable energy.
