Pine Hill XC Ski Center in New London has announced the construction of two new ski trails. “Zipper” is for seasoned skiers with a few fast drops. The “Bruce Crawford Way” is a less demanding trail, with a nice panoramic view named after one of Pine Hill’s late Board members.

With 11 groomed trails for skiing and one for snowshoes, there are 15 miles of terrain for both members (season pass holders) and day skiers.

Events planned this season are:

  • Full Moon Tour on Saturday, January 23 at 7:30 PM
  • Pancake Brunch at Robb’s Hut on Saturday, February 20, from noon to 2:30 PM
  • The famous Fondtones’ Winter Doo Wop Band at Robb’s Hut on Saturday, March 5, from noon to 2:30 PM
