The first annual Dancing with the Lake Sunapee Stars is sponsored by the Lake Sunapee Region Center for the Arts. Join us on Saturday, May 14, at the Sawyer Theater at Colby-Sawyer College for this fun-filled and very exciting evening. It will begin at 5:30 PM with cocktails and a silent auction. Showtime will be at 7 PM.

Our Lake Sunapee Stars have taken on the challenge to dance to win. This challenge is modeled after the ever-popular ABC television show Dancing with the Stars, which takes place twice a year. How exciting it will be to see our own local stars take on the challenge in this exciting competition. They will be partnered with professional dancers from the Newport Ballroom Dance Studio, with choreography by Natalie Mavor Miles.

Introducing this year’s Lake Sunapee Stars:

Sara Colson from the Lake Sunapee Chamber of Commerce; Nicole Densmore, Music Instructor at the Kearsarge Regional Elementary School; attorney Michael Todd, the New London Town Moderator; Carter Bascom from the New London Outing Club; and attorney Jackie Hudkins.

Admission will include the dance competition, a cocktail reception, an auction featuring goods and services, and an opportunity to vote for your favorite star.

Do not miss this event, and remember, all proceeds fund community arts programs as well as scholarships for students in the Lake Sunapee region.
