The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens is celebrating the final days of Visual Verse: An Exhibit of Art and Poetry Inspired by The Fells with a closing reception on October 6 from 4:30 to 6 PM. This exhibit is a  collaboration between plein air artists who have captured the magnificent beauty of The Fells on canvas and local poets from the John Hay Poetry Society who have interpreted these works in verse. Artists will be on hand to discuss their work and the poets will read some of the poems. Also, sculptors from Art of Nature 2016: Outdoor Sculpture will be on hand to talk about their work.
