I stepped up to run for state representative because as a grandmother and former family business owner, I wanted to be a part of the process to preserve values and grow New Hampshire. For the family, I will vote against Common Core standards that are not allowing children their greatest abilities. Parents cannot help their children with homework. I will vote for school choice. I will support the Education Tax Credit Law for scholarships for school choice. We need to reduce in-state tuition for New Hampshire students and make sure our tax dollars are accountable for the state colleges.
I will oppose Obamacare Medicaid Expansion. I believe it does not have proper checks and balances for New Hampshire taxpayers. A person who works a 40-hour week on minimum wage cannot qualify for this program. Yet someone does not have to be sick, nor have a work requirement for Medicaid Expansion. I would vote for across-state-line insurance competition.
I will work to keep the budget balanced. I will support the business profit tax reduction for 2017. New Hampshire saw $80 million dollars in additional revenue this year, creating incentives for business to grow and come to New Hampshire. Another way is to reduce regulations and mandates so we can keep New Hampshire workers employed.
I will be a vote to protect our Second Amendment. From families, to seniors, to businesses, I will give 110% keeping us fiscally grounded, fight for local control, preserve family values. I ask for your vote on Tuesday, November 8. You can reach me at NatalieWells4NH@nullgmail.com or 456-2873.
