New London, NH – Betty A. (Miller) Dickerman, 91, died March 16, 2018 at Merrimack County Healthcare following a period of declining health. She was born in East Andover, NH on January 24, 1927, the daughter of Arthur and Beatrice (McKeage) Andrews. Betty attended the Dyer’s Crossing School in East Andover and graduated from Andover High School and Concord Commercial College. She had previously worked for Colby Junior College, Barton Insurance Agency, Dr. Wesley G. Nichols, Concord Coach Lines and the State of New Hampshire.
Betty was a Member and Past Noble Grand of Crystal Rebekah Lodge #68, a Lifetime Member of VFW Post #1698 of Franklin, NH, a Life Member of The Andover Historical Society, member of The Loyal Order of the Moose in Concord, NH, The Elkins Chapel Society and The Chapin Senior Center in New London, NH. The biggest joy in her life was volunteering for many organizations and helping people in any way that she could.
She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Clayton “Skip” Miller in 1977 and husband of 25 years, Irving M. Dickerman in 2010.
Betty is survived by her two sons and their wives, Thomas and Mary Miller and Arthur and Donna Miller; grandson, Shaun A. Miller; stepson, Lester Dickerman; stepdaughter, Claudia Dickerman; and stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Goodwyn, Dan Dickerman and Chris Dickerman.
Private committal services will be held in the Lakeside Cemetery in East Andover at the convenience of the family.
