LEARNING TO COPE in their new home, Canada goslings follow Mom and Dad around the little pond on Emery Road (just west of the end of Dyers Crossing Road in East Andover) on a mid-May Sunday afternoon. Though fascinating to watch, Canada geese are highly protective of their nests and their young. Observers are warned to keep their distance.
