Thank you from the South Danbury Church to everyone who participated in our August events – the Town-wide Yard Sale, the Antique and Well-Loved Tool Sale, Danbury’s Old Home Day, and the return of the Speaker Series with Reggie Harris’s concert! We are so glad for your support, and we hoped you enjoyed everything as much as we did!
We’re looking forward to the 104th Danbury Grange & Community Fair on Saturday, September 8 (always on the first Saturday after Labor Day). The church will have a “float” (Chris and Roy Jobst’s truck) in the parade, and we’ll have a booth in the exhibit area across from the Grange Hall. Please stop by to visit, and to learn more about our LCHIP historic preservation project and our plans for Fall activities.
The South Danbury Speaker Series will continue in October, and so will the annual Pie and Vintage Cookbook Sale (watch for news).
