I have served the people of Merrimack County for over 35 years, working my way up from dispatcher, to Deputy First Class, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Operations Supervisor. I am a career Deputy Sheriff, not a politician. My experience in all aspects of the office (Civil Process
Service, Motor Vehicle Enforcement, Prisoner Transport, Warrants, Investigations, Training, and Operations), and my dedication will lead us in the right direction with a focus on safety, teamwork, and communication.
As the Sheriff, I plan to expand training opportunities, focus on the community, modernize the Sheriff’s office, and grow effective community programs. Most of my agenda was planned and published before the Governor’s Commission on Law Enforcement Accountability, Community, and Transparency report was released. In my agenda, I covered a majority of the report’s mandates and suggestions concerning: updating policies, increased training, diversity awareness, mental health awareness, suicide warning awareness, social media use, etc.
I live in Warner with my wife, Lynda. We raised our son there. I volunteered as a baseball coach, a Scoutmaster for Troop 67, and later a Venture Crew Coach and advisor. I am currently an active Adult 4-H leader in both Merrimack and Rockingham Counties, plus a member of the Merrimack County 4-H Foundation.
I’m ready to serve as Sheriff, and I’d be honored to earn your vote!
