Janet N. (Newcomb) Corliss, 93,  of Dodge Lane, died Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the New London Hospital.

She was born in East Andover on January 1, 1928, the daughter of Edward and Rhodora (Preston) Newcomb.

Janet graduated from Andover High School and then was a stay-at-home Mom. Later she worked at the Mica Shop, Acme Staple, and retired from Watts Regulator in 1990.

She lived all of her life in East Andover. Janet enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, reading, riding to the ocean, and animals, especially dogs and cats.

She is predeceased by siblings, Robert Newcomb, Dorothy Wiggins, Evelyn Huckins, and Mary Huckins. Janet is survived by a son, Donald Corliss of East Andover; a daughter, Barbara Cassidy of Belmont; two grandsons, Ben and his companion, Tosha and Patrick and his spouse, Becky; a brother, Kenneth Newcomb of Florida; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Lakeview Cemetery, East Andover in the spring.
