Adam Jones, Candidate for School Board

3-year term, incumbent, write-in

By Adam Jones

Elected in 2019, I am currently serving as the Vice-Chair of the Andover School Board. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware of the January deadline to be on the ballot for this year’s election. I am appealing to the residents of Andover to consider my candidacy as a write-in candidate.

Adam Jones

Over the last three years as a member of the School Board, I have held a variety of leadership positions. Last year, I was the School Board’s liaison to the Town Budget Committee and oversaw the creation and presentation of the school budget. As we navigated the early stages of the pandemic in 2020, I was the chair of the Reopening Working Group that helped to lay the groundwork for the transition from remote learning to an in-person learning model. And over the last year, I have been the chair of the AE/MS-Merrimack Valley Tuition Agreement Review Work Group. I wish to remain on the School Board for another three years because I am eager to continue this important work for Andover families.

Beyond my work at Proctor Academy, I am Dad to Leo (10), Finn (10), and Stella (6 months). As they have grown up in town, I’ve enjoyed volunteering with the Andover Recreation Department coaching soccer, basketball, skiing, and baseball. Additionally, I’ve been the President of the Andover Youth Baseball program for the last three years.

Thank you for considering my candidacy to remain on the School Board. I am eager to continue to offer leadership and continuity into the future. I love this community and am committed to serving. You can contact me at AJones@nullAEMSeagles.org or 603 735-6635.
