Rose Baer, who has owned a cabin on Bradley Lake in Andover since the winter of 1968-69, died on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at an assisted living facility in Warrenton, Virginia. Her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ralph Schobitz, of Lake of the Woods, Virginia, were with her.
Rose Baer was born in Queens, New York in 1927, and, besides Andover, lived in Flushing, New York; Malverne, New York; Burlington, Connecticut; and Lake of the Woods, Virginia.
Along with Linda and Ralph Schobitz, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Charles A. and Kim Baer, of Andover and Fairhope, Alabama; six grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Rose’s husband, Charles P. Baer, died in 1992. Rose and Charlie loved Bradley Lake.
