The political world can be cutthroat, and being a legislator is not for the faint of heart. Solving complex, real-world problems for people from all walks of life, many of whom faced the darkest days of their lives, I stood between my private investigation clients and threats of imminent harm while operating in dangerous field conditions.
Being successful also required a calm but assertive demeanor, along with a show of courage and humanity to survive in a male-dominated occupation where the competition was often ruthless.
There is an urgent need for aggressive action to be taken on behalf of citizens who will struggle to keep the lights on and stay warm this winter, which is unprecedented and of deep concern. Our grid’s reliable capacity is declining while demand is increasing, which is causing human crises. So far, and though having every opportunity, my opponents’ have failed to take a stance on this grave issue, which is very telling.
The chaotic state of energy costs must be thwarted, and time is of the essence. Intending to firmly stand between constituents and threats to their well-being brought by high-pressure special interest groups, I will support a common-sense energy policy that achieves measurable relief.
Voters have but one job to do, and that’s to elect a principled candidate having a strong moral compass; who will listen to her God-given (and therefore, never wrong) conscience to perform for the common good. I am that candidate and thank you in advance for your votes.
