“Bobcats in New Hampshire” will be the focus of a presentation on Wednesday, February 22, at 7 PM, at the Andover Community Hub. Educating the audience about bobcats will be Carrie Carbonneau, a volunteer Fish and Wildlife Steward with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. She will share information about this elusive cat, its habitat needs, and the current status of the bobcat population in the state.
Most of us probably haven’t encountered bobcats on our walks or in our backyards, but we know these secretive creatures live in the area. The presentation will also include information about the federal Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration programs that support important fish and game projects that increase our awareness and knowledge of these and other wildlife.
The program is open to all and free of charge, although donations are always welcome to help keep the lights on at the Hub. For further information, contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com or 603 735-5509.
