Ralph Ressler died on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. He was 89 years old. Ralph was born on Labor Day, September 4, 1933, in Paterson, New Jersey.

After four years in the United States Navy, he entered Montclair State College in New Jersey. Ralph graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in industrial arts education.
He and his family moved to Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Ressler began studying toward a PhD in industrial arts and vocational education.

Dr. Ressler taught at the University of Miami in Florida, Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and at Auburn University in Alabama, from which he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Connie (née Clausen), of 62 years, two sons Craig and Rand, and three grandchildren. Ralph and Connie were Unitarian Universalists.
