Kearsarge Area Senior Luncheon Scheduled for March 16

Featuring flutist Nola Aldrich

Press Release

Flutist Nola Aldrich will provide musical entertainment at the Kearsarge Area Senior Luncheon on Thursday, March 16.  Nola performs regularly as a longtime member of the Kearsarge Community Band, also playing the piccolo and conducting at times.  She shares her musical talent with many other local groups as well, including the Wilmot Congregational Church, the Unitarian Church in Andover, and local nursing homes.

The lunch begins at noon at the First Congregational Church of Wilmot, 19 North Wilmot Road, next to the Wilmot Public Library.  Plenty of good parking spaces are available. Hot lunches from the Community Action Program (CAP) in Concord will be served by members of the Wilmot Ladies Aid Society, organizers for the luncheons. Door prizes, free books and puzzles, and CAP’s frozen dinners to go will be available.

To sign up, call 603 526-4236 by Thursday, March 9.  Please leave your name, town, and phone number to reserve your place.  Suggested donation: $2 for CAP, $3 for sponsors/supplies.
All are welcome. The last lunch for this season will be held at noon on Thursday, April 20, at the First Congregational Church of Wilmot.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  The lunches do not follow the school closings.  Every effort will be made to hold the lunches even in inclement weather.  Should the lunch be canceled for any reason, guests with reservations will be notified by phone with as much advance notice as possible.  Guests are urged to use their best judgment about venturing out in bad weather, as safety always comes first!
