I was born and raised in Andover. After graduating from nursing school, I married and moved away, living in Hawaii, Texas, and many New England states, but returned each summer with my family to spend time on Highland Lake.
My husband and I moved to Andover when we retired in early 2020 to be near both our families. I feel that town history and the people who came before us are important and should be respected. We need to maintain our history, which includes the 19 cemeteries in town. So many familiar names as I walk the grounds of Proctor and Lakeview.
I want to play a part in preserving the older cemeteries and work to maintain and improve the two active cemeteries. I served as an alternate member of the Cemetery Trustees for a year and last July was appointed to serve the remainder of Bill Keyser’s term. I am asking for your vote to continue to work with the Cemetery Trustees.
