Valerie B. (Long) Kimmel, 69, of North Short Street, Andover, died Saturday, February 18, 2023.  .She was born in Newton, Massachusetts on February 14,1954 the daughter of Francis Long and Helen M. (Trawinski) Long.

Valerie spent her early years in Massachusetts, moved to Moultonborough, and lived in Hawaii for over 35 years before moving to Andover, six months ago.  For many years the family owned a vacation home on Wicwas Lake in Meredith Center where she enjoyed activities on the water.  Valerie had worked as an exterminator and taught sign language and braille. She enjoyed reading. She loved all types of dogs and bred Pugs.

She is survived by close family friends, Jim and Elita Reed of Andover, New Hampshire.
