New Hampshire singer/songwriter Tom Pirozzoli will be the featured performer at the monthly Andover Community Coffeehouse on Friday, May 19, at the Highland Lake Grange in East Andover. He will sing songs from his 2020 CD, Reckon by the Light, as well as some new works and maybe a story or two.
Music begins at 7 PM and is open to the public at no charge although donations are encouraged when the hat is passed to be shared with the featured act. Doors to the Grange Hall open at 6 PM for food and beverage purchases, and for open mic sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis. The evening will include up to five two-song open-mic acts.
From the back roads of New Hampshire to the mountains of Tibet, Tom Pirozzoli’s life of adventure has influenced his music for nearly five decades. A self-taught guitarist, Tom’s sophisticated guitar work forms the rich backdrop for his warm tenor that delivers melodies and lyrics exploring the full range of the human and global experience. As the Boston Sunday Globe stated “Pirozzoli’s poetic lyrics make his songs worth reading as well as hearing.”
