G’day from Down Under! Janet is checking out the Beacon’s Andover Libraries page from atop Flagstaff Hill in Port Douglas, North Queensland. Trinity Beach is way down below on Windy Bay, tucked in by tropical islands in the Coral Sea, and beyond that is the endless Pacific Ocean. The photographer is Janet’s daughter, Abbie Plummer, who has made her home in Australia since 2011, and was thrilled with the “mother and child reunion” (thank you, Simon and Garfunkel) after a COVID induced three and a half years apart.
