A one-day workshop on writing memoir will be offered to the community on Saturday, September 9, 9 AM to 3 PM, jointly sponsored by the Andover Historical Society (AHS) and The Andover Community Hub, and held at The Hub. 

The workshop, “Telling Your Story, A Gift To Those You Love,” will be led by New London resident Joan Katz, M.Ed. She is an experienced teacher of memoir writing who has developed this six-hour workshop to provide participants with an opportunity to explore their own personal, social, and cultural history, to understand family dynamics, and to reflect on what has made them who they are today.  Helpful resources as well as various ways of organizing a memoir will be included.

 Enrollment is limited and pre-registration is required; to register, participants should email treasurer@nullandoverhistory.org, or leave a message at The Hub, 603 735-5509, by September 4. The workshop is offered free of charge, although donations are always welcome so that both organizations can continue to offer programming. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
