Granite VNA Offers Healing Hearts – A Grief Support Group

The focus is on grieving for the loss of a child

Press release

Healing Hearts, a grief support group for child loss, is being held on Wednesdays beginning October 11 from 5:30–7 PM at Bow Mills United Methodist Church, 505 South Street.

The mutual support group is for parents who have suffered the death of a child at any age due to any circumstance, whether the loss was recent or some time ago. Parents are encouraged to come individually or with partners, spouses, or co-parents to connect and journey toward healing alongside other bereaved parent figures who are on this path of grief – to listen, to share, to remember, and to give and to receive support.

Registration and a brief screening is required. All community members are welcome to attend. This program is offered at no charge. Masks are optional.

To register, please call 603 224-4093 or 800 924-8620, ext. 82822 or visit granitevna.org.
