November Events
All Andover Libraries events are free and open to all. To know an event’s location, look at the acronyms: APL stands for Andover Public Library and WABL stands for William Bachelder Library.
November 2: Visit the Library Table at AEMS’s Literacy Night to enter to win a Family Fun Night gift basket
November 15: Attend a virtual author talk with KC Davis, author of How To Keep House While Drowning, at 7 PM. Thank you to the Nashua Public Library for providing this opportunity. Email the library at andoverpl11@nullgmail.com for the Zoom link.
November 24 and 25: Lego Days! Join us for Lego fun at the libraries. We’ll have Legos, as well as idea books, at WABL on Friday, November 24 from 9-1 PM and at APL on Saturday, November 25 from 9-1 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
November 29: Join in on our Book Exchange, sponsored by The Exchange, at APL at 6:30 PM. Bring a wrapped book, new or used, to share with the group. We’ll play games, give out prizes, and have snacks. Everyone will leave with a new book to enjoy as we enter the cold Winter months. Please see the librarian for more details. You can also check our Facebook page and website.
We will continue to have Story Time at WABL on Tuesday mornings at 10 AM, once the ceiling project is finished. We also have Story Time and a craft at APL on Wednesday mornings at 10 AM.
APL will be open on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11. APL will close at 12 PM on Wednesday, November 22, for Thanksgiving Eve. WABL and APL will be closed on Thursday, November 23, for Thanksgiving.
